We are running a fun ‘Summer of Love’ American Doubles event at Palmerston from 5pm on Saturday 20th August aimed at intermediates, parents and rusty rackets players. Partners will be arranged for you if needed. Great music, bar open and a fun evening! There’s a ‘1967 summer of love’ theme and will be a prize for the most innovative attire! We will have the mini nets set out so any little ones can accompany their parents and keep amused! Cost is £5 for members or parents, £7.50 non members. Message Dave on 07900 955155 if you’d like to join in.

We are open!
All courts are available to be booked via our online booking system which has been very effective over the last year. This can be done through our ClubSpark page.
Palmerston will be adhering to all the guidelines set by the LTA. We strongly encourage all members to follow suit so we can maintain the safest environment possible. The guidelines about tennis and our clubhouse can be found on the LTA Coronavirus page.
It’s important you don’t attend the club if you have any coronavirus symptoms (high temperature, new continuous cough, or loss/change to sense of taste or smell). We also need to maintain social distancing, have no spectators (apart from parent supervision) and no socialising.
Following LTA guidelines, we’re able to arrange social tennis but as an organised activity. We introduced this prior to the last lockdown and will continue with it again. This involves co- ordinating play (usually led by the committee) and recording information. Social tennis was very well attended right up through December which was fantastic to see and we’re hopeful this will continue as we reconvene. Courts have been blocked booked for social tennis/match practice on Sundays from 12pm and Tuesdays from 6pm.
Tennis is Back!
We are pleased to announce that Palmerston’s courts will be reopened from Monday 29th March 2021.
