Here at Palmerston we offer multiple sessions for all standards of player. An Adult Social Tennis Program for both improvers and experienced players and an Adult Competitive Tennis Program.
Adult Social Tennis Program
Sunday Social Mix In – 12 noon onwards
If you are already fairly experienced and are looking for good quality social tennis, then from around noon every Sunday, we have a general mix in for members. Potential new members are welcome to pop along and have a try out.
Sunday Rusty Rackets – 10am-noon
If you are returning to tennis after a break or are just looking to start your tennis journey, we run Rusty Rackets sessions every Sunday morning from 10am to noon. All abilities are very welcome. No experience is necessary. No need to bring a partner – just yourself and a racquet. We’re not competitive; the emphasis is on having fun, getting fitter, and meeting new friends!
Adult Competitive Tennis Program
We’re immensely proud to have one of the strongest competitive groups of players in Liverpool. Every season we challenge for the top spot in both the ladies’ and men’s divisions of the Liverpool League, while our mixed teams have had repeated success in the end-of-season Brockbank and Fairlawn Trophies. We’re always on the lookout for new players to join our teams. If you’d like to join us please get in touch.
Adult Coaching Program
Our adult group coaching session takes place at 3pm on Sundays. Held by Head Coach Dave Simms. Open to all for just £7.50 – pay on the day. Please note there is an additional £2.50 charge for non-members of Palmerston Tennis Club in lieu of a visitors fee.
